Mr. Nurul Kabir is the
Director of Research and Curriculum Development (RCD) at Presidency International School, Bangladesh, and an experienced Cambridge A/O Level Physics teacher and instructional coach. Since 2015, he has led a school-wide Teacher Learning Community (TLC) model focused on sustained collaboration, peer coaching, lesson study, and teacher-led inquiry. Grounded in Dylan Wiliam’s formative assessment framework, his work emphasizes making learning visible, strengthening instructional decisions, and building teacher agency through evidence-based practice.
Nurul presented his research, Cultivating a Culture of Continuous Improvement, at the 3rd Global Conference on Innovations in Education (Singapore, 2025) , sharing insights from over nine years of TLC implementation in a developing-country context. Internationally, he served as Team Leader for Bangladesh at the 8th European Physics Olympiad (2024) and as an Observer with the Bangladesh delegation at the International Physics Olympiad (2023, Tokyo).
A founding member of the Bangladesh Physics Olympiad Committee, Nurul also leads international STEM enrichment programs, including NASA STEM tours, Singapore science camps, and European educational tours . His professional mission is to strengthen teacher capacity, align curriculum and assessment, and improve student learning through research-informed practice.
